At this point I've really only worn these in the house. I may take them out on a walk later. So far I love them. Not too big, not to small. It's like an Goldilocks -they're just right.When I buy boots, I look at three key things: fit, noise, and versatility. This pair knocked all three out of the park.FIT—I have short, wide feet (usually around a size 6, and I opt for wides when I can). I sized up to a 7 for these and, while they’re definitely more narrow than my other shoes, they are not uncomfortably narrow at all.My husband remarked that they’re a bit longer than my other shoes, but only by half an inch or so. My feet feel secure and comfortable. They’re remarkably soft on the soles of my feet as well! We’ll see how they hold up to a day of walking, but I have high hopes.NOISE —**I’ll update this review when I’ve worn them on a rainy day** but for everyday wear, they’re remarkably quiet. As a matter of personal preference, I don’t like wearing loud, clomp-y boots. The rubber soles on this pair allow me to walk around silently, just the way I like.VERSATILITY —These are gorgeous, stylish boots. They’re also remarkably versatile, which is what I was looking for. They’ll work well with my spring-summer-fall wardrobe and I’m looking forward to seeing how they hold up in the winter as well.I’m not planning to wear these hiking (I have other boots for that job) but this pair seems like they’d transition easily from the trail to an evening on the town. I think they’ll become my go-to pair while traveling!So far I am happy with these I hope they will last me a long time. They feel durable and sturdy. I may even get another pair of Sorel in another style. However - I was expecting these to be a smoother/hard finish leather from the picture, they feel soft like suede, maybe they will lose their fuzz but I worry they will be hard to clean stains off of. Don't know but willing to give it a shot.To start I ordered size 8 (as it says to order true to size) but they were way too tight and returned for 8.5. At time of ordering brown was not available in 9-10. Or I may have ordered up further as I like to wear THICC socks and change insoles. If I do order in the future I will most likely get at least size 9.I am satisfied and able to wear my socks with 8.5. I found the Sorel insoles to be comfortable on their own but I ended up taking them out and just wearing the boots for awhile as they felt even more comfortable with a little more breathing room. I have since gotten insoles more focused on arch and bounce in the heel with nothing under the toe area and I'm finding this combo decent for working in.Nice, good quality feeling boot but very narrow. I’m someone who feels Nikes run a bit narrow so if you’re in that boat, they’ll probably feel too narrow. Hard to get my foot in. Wish it weren’t so :(I liked wearing the boots in the cold and in the snow.I LOVE these boots. I live in LA, but recently purchased these to visit my family in a colder part of the country. I have worn these basically every day since I purchased them, even since returning to LA! They have removable insoles, which is great for me because I have knee issues and need a lot of arch support. I would say even without adding insoles, however, these are great out of the box.They are extremely comfortable, weather and water resistant, AND adorable. I have gotten so many compliments and people asking where I got these. If you are on the fence about these or another chelsea boot and are looking for function, style, and comfort, look no further.One thing to note: if you have a wider foot, I would recommend sizing up a half size, as these are pretty narrow. I have skis for feet, so that was not a problem for me and I ordered my normal size 8.Super comfortable but a bit too Narrow!Cute boot
