I finally found the perfect boot. I am wearing them now to “break them in” although they are so comfortable I don’t feel as if I have to. They just arrived. Super comfortable and are just like the picture. I was concerned because of some of the reviews but mine are wonderful! Sorry to those who got less than perfect. Totally plan on buying all of the colors now. Will update if need be, but for now, I love them.I tried to submit a picture but Amazon is being rather difficult today lol. Sorry loves.So I impulse bought these because they're exactly what I need for a number of my outfits and I didn't really read the reviews before I ordered. Once I did read all the reviews about fakes and boots falling apart I panicked a bit but didn't cancel my order because I have had really good luck on Amazon so far. My biggest buys being my laptop two pairs of docs and some timberlands and everything has been authentic despite some reviews saying they were fake. THE POINT IS I do think there are people piggy backing fakes into real orders I have no idea how but I think it has something to do with where you live. I live near shipping ports and all my orders come quickly and are right. I think if you live somewhere more remote the likely hood of fakes is bigger. So trust your gut and past ordering experiences and make sure you have a foolproof return method on anything pricey. The boots (if real) are perfect and smell leathery and wonderful.N/AReal leather, and true to size. I wear an 8.5 and it fits and could wear with socks and be comfortable. You cannot go wrong with this boot.Boots are comfortable and true to size, but I’ve seen better leather in lesser brands. Arch support is low, or non existent but the boots are quite comfortable to wear. The neck is quite wide. If you have slim ankles, it will be loose. Other than that, these are good bootsThese shoes required very little break in and fit my feet well even though they are wide. They’re the perfect fall shoe and go with almost every outfit. I have bigger calves so the midi shaft height is perfectMadden are high quality products. I live these boots, the style, the real leather and craftsmanship. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to little or no arch support.This is my 3rd pair I just keep buying them after I wear the other ones down (after a few years of walking NYC streets). They are so soft and cute. They go with anything.Bought these before from a reputable store in town so these are my second pair. My last pair lasted me for 3 years of regular wear so I wanted to replace and since they are out of stock everywhere I have these a try. I’m not convinced these are the real deal and the smell is horribly strong. I wouldn’t risk your money on these.Great looking and well made boot but Uk size incorrect, too small. Horrid experience trying to return them, you have to fork out for the return postage, been quoted £77 to return an £80 pair of boots. Having to trudge around couriers trying to get better price as its impossible on the Internet as the zip code isn't recognised for amazon returns to the states. Won't be buying anything stateside again.Really pleased. Arrived earlier than expected. The leather is soft, rich and beautiful. They are super comfortable. Great value for money. They have a zip down the side and come packaged in a Steve Madden box ???Lovely boots, far, far too small. Strange as my last pair of these was exactly the same size and fitted fine! My feet have not grown..perhaps is because they're coming from America? Can't message seller as system does not accept my email. return ing..hope the refund comes through..heard nothing as yet.Size 6 too large. Have returned. Still awaiting my refund. The 5.5 we're too small. I have worn these boots for years (5.5) and my feet have not grown! I am disappointed the sizes seem to now be unreliable. The boots look great.
